Proactive health management

Get peace of mind and effective treatment

One of the ways we help our patients get peace of mind and stay in good health is by catching any potential issues before they become a problem.

If you have any concerns about your personal or family medical history, we also offer genetic screening to stay ahead of conditions including cancer or heart disease.

As well as giving us a better view on how to manage potential risks from cancer, and predict how well you might respond to certain cardiac treatment strategies, genetic screening provides us with a fantastic opportunity to be preventative and proactive in our approach to your wellbeing, and help to safeguard you against future disease.

Whether it’s booking you in for earlier, or more frequent tests, adopting preventative measures to reduce your risk of disease, or using cardiac screening to put you on the best treatment pathway, we’ll do everything we can to help you stay on top of your health.

Frequently asked questions

Do you offer genetic testing for cancer?

Yes. We offer cancer panel testing that analyses any potentially cancer-causing mutations in your genes. Cancers that have genes we can identify include: breast, ovarian, uterine, colorectal, pancreatic, stomach, prostate and melanoma.

Concerns about hereditary illnesses are on the rise and genetic testing can give peace of mind or empower you to take preventative steps to maintain your health and wellbeing.

You’ll also have access to post-test counselling, lifestyle and aftercare advice, plus, if necessary, a fast-track referral to onward specialist care if required.

Do you offer genetic testing for cardiac conditions?

Yes. Our cardiac screening can identify genes associated with hereditary heart disease, and can help you find the most suitable and effective treatment.

You’ll also have access to post-test counselling, lifestyle and aftercare advice, plus a fast-track referral to onward specialist care should you need it.

If you have any other questions about looking after your health, either in the future or right now, please don’t hesitate to get in touch and find out how we can help.
