Onward referrals

Your fast track to effective treatment

In most cases, we’ll be able to give you a prompt diagnosis and a fast track to effective treatment. Some cases, however, are more complex and require another opinion or specific specialist treatments.

In those cases we’ll give you advice on the type of specialist you need, and direct, rapid access to the expertise of our extended network of world-leading consultants, clinics and healthcare professionals in a vast range of specialisms.

We can offer this access due to the close working relationships we have with these experts, but our advice is always focused on your needs and best medical practice. We want to help you to find the best consultant for you.

That means whatever your medical concern, we can refer you to the appropriate specialist – and even arrange same-day appointments should you need it.

Frequently asked questions

Can you refer to the NHS?

No. As a private practice, we can’t refer within the NHS – only to private consultants and clinics. However, if you wish to discuss our recommendations with your NHS GP, we’d be more than happy to provide you with a letter detailing them.

Which specialists are you able to refer to?

We frequently refer to consultants specialising in cardiology, colorectal conditions, endocrinology, ENT, fertility, gastroenterology, gynaecology, oncology, psychology, sport and exercise medicine, urology, vascular conditions and many more. If you’d like more information, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

My medical insurers need a letter of referral – are you able to help?

Many private consultants or hospitals require a GP referral letter, which often has to be addressed to a specific specialist. And if you intend to make use of any medical insurance policy, a formal letter of referral is often obligatory.

In either case, it’s no problem and something we’ll provide you with as long as we’ve seen and examined you. In your referral, we’ll cover the medical concern, your medical history, plus any other relevant information they might need to assess your case promptly and effectively.

If you can’t find the answer to your question here, please don’t hesitate to get in touch. We’ll be only too happy to help in any way we can.
